We the People, Supreme Sovereigns of the States, just don't get it:
We the People, in GOOD FAITH, elect people from our own STATE to represent us in Washington DC.
STATES are supposed to be Supreme and Sovereign within their borders, deriving it's Sovereignty by consent of the Sovereign citizens of that State.
Just because a person is a Lawmaker, does not make them above the Law. Why then would a Governor or State Legislature allow a citizen of the State, sent to Washington DC to represent that STATE, why do they allow them to pass laws that take away the freedoms and power of the Governor and State Legislature, and thereby the Sovereigns of that State, the People, uncontested???
Okay, don't say they'll withhold highway funds...I know. We want Governors and State Legislators to know that we'd rather have "Potholes for the People", and our freedom, than a smoothly paved highway to ever expanding government domination.
Don't Underestimate the Will of the American People and what they are willing to sacrifice to have freedom!
Perhaps just one of you Governors is waiting on the People to get behind you in just such an effort. If so, here we are!
Our current membership as of Jan 1, 2010 is over 3,000 strong, representing every state in the Union. That beats 150 Obama-supporting astro-turf doctors representing 50 States any day of the week.
That's 3,000 people across all 50 states and it is growing daily. We've not yet taken a mass media approach, which is to come, but have relied on talking to our friends and acquaintances about this and posting links on the internet to generically grow to 3,000 members today. We have plans now to take this to the air waves in the near future. Make no mistake, we are totally committed to see to it the government is returned to its original Constitutional foundation.
The people we send to Washington DC swear an oath, and they should be accountable to the People of their State who sent them to act according to the Constitution of the United States, respecting State Sovereignty. And they should be directly accountable to the People of their State WHENEVER, not just during an election year...but as the Declaration of Independence says, WHENEVER they do not adhere to the Constitution, BREAKING FAITH with the People who sent them by breaking their oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States, by supporting laws that infringe on State Sovereignty and Individual Freedom. In this situation, the People of their State should be able to be remove them from office WHENEVER needed, by a simple majority vote of the People.
We the People are sick and tired of unresponsive government, and we're sick and tired of having to wait for the next election cycle while we watch the almost daily erosion of our freedoms, enduring even more thoughts of organizations like ACORN being investigated for committing voter fraud. You get the picture.
Surely you don't believe the Founders intended that the People would have to wait for an election every 2 to 4 years while watching their Freedoms eroded daily by a government bent on destroying individual liberty, do you? That hardly amounts to "whenever". This is why they communicated the Revolution principle to the People, and put government by consent in the hands of the Citizens at Large. We've had all we're going to take, and we're determined to get control of this situation for the good of our country, and for all our children who come after us.
Once the People vote to Recall a particular Senator or Representative, the Governor and State Legislature would be empowered to enforce the Will of the People. A special election may then be held for their replacement, or the Governor may appoint a temporary replacement, especially in regard to the Senate. This is a "win - win" situation for YOU too, Governors and State Legislators. State Sovereignty will be restored, We the People will make the hard decision to hold accountable out of control elected officials in the Federal Government, and YOU get the political cover of saying "I was only doing the Will of the People of my State."
We're exploring these avenues for action because we're justly alarmed at the rapid rate the Obama administration is moving toward socialism, and having seen that the majority party in Congress as a whole is NOT responsive to us, nor are they securing our Right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness as endowed by our Creator, but are facilitating further erosion of our freedoms.
We no longer trust them to act on behalf of the People, especially in light of the hostile comments coming from the leadership of the majority party toward any voice of opposition calling us "Nazis, racists, and fringe" despite the overwhelming numbers beginning to rally. We feel we simply cannot wait until the next election to begin to take action, hence this letter.
We're also alarmed when we see the Federal Government FORCE States to pass laws under threat of withholding highway funds, or etc. only to see state legislatures "snap to" and capitulate! If anyone thinks they won't do this in regard to individuals if they control the health care industry in this country you are worse than naive, you are self-deceived. We'd rather you stand up to them, and have potholes for the people, than a smoothly paved road to further government domination.
If you will begin to stand up to the Federal Government and say, "keep your money, we are a Sovereign State, and will do as we please" you would have an uprising of people to support you as never before. There may never be a better time than this to do such a thing.
Governors: you have the bully pulpit of your state. Go to the People. Ask them what they are willing to sacrifice in order to begin to roll back the tide of domination by the Federal Government. Lay it on the line for them. I think you'll be surprised. Surely you've been watching the People on the move. Harness that energy for the good of the entire country and seize this moment to roll back the power of the Federal government. NOW is the time! Call on the People to help you. They'll respond!
Do you think the government would withhold Medicare or Social Security payments if you do this? NO! Watch Seniors stand up in anger against the Federal government if they threaten to do that! Just look at how many angry Senior Citizens there were in the Town Hall meetings! They'd have your back on this too! Come on! Stand up for us, won't you? And what if the Fed did threaten to withhold benefits? It would only be their unmasking for all to see!
Ever since FDR they've sought to make us more dependent on THEM so that they can control us by threatening to withdraw benefits if WE don't do what THEY say. They already do this to the States, and they will do it to Individuals also, if they get control of our health care system.
You can force them out into the open on this issue by doing as we're requesting. The vast majority of People will see them for what they truly are, and we can begin to restore freedoms to the People. This is a war on Individual Freedom, make no mistake.
At A Voice of the People, we're a comparatively small but dedicated and growing group of People who are working to gather signatures nation-wide to eventually put ballot initiatives in every State for voters of each state to decide whether they would like to have the ability to Recall their Federally elected officials, both Senate and Representatives, and to allow for a nationwide recall of the President, and not just for today, but for any time in the future when elected officials over-step their LIMITED, ENUMERATED Constitutional Authority.
Why are we asking for your help? Because we are exploring every avenue possible to achieve this goal for the People as quickly as possible. And as you are well aware, the Petition process for the Ballot Initiative & Referendum varies from state to state, and not all States allow them. The process of gathering signatures can also be a very long process, and is always vigorously contested.
You however, as the Governors and State Legislatures have the ability to write legislation any time you please. We the People are asking you, if ANY one of you would be willing to write such legislation, giving the People of your State the ability to Recall Federal Elected Officials of that State, when they over-step their Constitutional Authority and either sponsor, support, or write legislation that infringes on State Sovereignty, or the Liberty of the People of that state.
If just one state allows this Recall, I believe the rest of the People of the country would want the same ability to hold their Federally elected officials accountable WHENEVER they over-step their Constitutional authority.
This action would also allow for the Restoration of the original intent of the Constitution in regard to State Sovereignty, Local Self-Government and Individual Liberty. We could then begin to turn back the tide of erroneous interpretations of the Constitution, and laws taking away our freedoms, based on those erroneous decisions.
Nothing less than a Revolution is going to quickly save our country now. This is the Revolution We the People are asking you to lead. The lack of Will on behalf of our Federally elected officials to either willingly abide by or hold others accountable to abide by the Limited Enumerated powers of the Constitution, makes it necessary for We the People to do so for ourselves. If not, we condemn posterity to fight these same battles over and over again, if We cannot hold our Elected Officials DIRECTLY accountable WHENEVER needed, for over-stepping their Constitutional Authority. No one else will better guard our Liberties, than We the People, for ourselves.
We're waiting on you to step up and lead us. Do so, and you can count on the gratitude of a great many more people than just the people of your state. So, who is going to step up and lead the way? Please let us know.

An Open Letter To The President, Congress and Supreme Court: Sirs and Mesdames: You have ONE JOB: Your only job is to do one simple thing, You SWORE an Oath to uphold and defend the United States Constitution. 2. Cease and desist all Co2 and AGW legislation until the Unbiased FACTS are revealed. Do a complete Investigation of Climate Gate.
3. Cease and desist all deliberation on signing any treaty that cedes US Sovereignty: this includes Copenhagen Treaty, Codex Aliminatarius, Health care legislation, Jay Rockefeller’s internet control bill! This is an act of Direct TREASON ON YOUR PART if you or anyone CEDES US Sovereignty to any entity or acts Contrary to the Constitution .

5. Honor your Oath of office and OBEY Amendment 9 which states: "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others RETAINED by the PEOPLE".

6. Repeal the Patriot act! It is unconstitutional because it violates the bill of rights right down the line. Do I have to remind you that Amendment IV states: The right of the People to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation , and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
7. Stay out of FREE SPEECH! Amendment I clearly states: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceable to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances".
8. Complete Audit of the Federal Reserve. The FED is unconstitutional from the start. The genesis of the Federal Reserve was passed with 3 Congressmen in the dark of night. The constitution is very clear who is supposed to have the authority to coin money: CONGRESS! You must STOP making unconstitutional laws.
9. It is not Constitutional for you to allow the courts to pass laws according to Article III. You are overburdening the system with bills and laws you KNOW are unconstitutional.
The Constitution does not give authority to you, our government representatives to lie to us and deceive us, nor does it give authority to the government to act without the consent of the people. When government no longer looks out for the best interest of the people, the government ceases to be the rightful, legitimate government, and as such, it is time to abolish the entire government. I propose that ALL elected officials live at home, work a regular job at home, that they consider their appointment by WE THE PEOPLE, a PRIVILEGE with NO PAY. Only go to Washington 1-2 times per year.
This is especially important since they are tinkering with language in that 2,000 page Health Care Monstrosity that would allow states to opt out. It is time our legislators hear from us now.

It's high time the U.S govt starts following the law as all of us ordinary citizens are obligated to do. The facts on Fox news do not add up. While saying that their were only 70,000 at the Tea Party when the number was closer to 1,700,000 they are saying that tens of thousands were there for the Gay march. The numbers don't add up because at the meeting with Obama there were 3 thousands inside to hear Obama and only 50 people outside protesting, (foxnews numbers, not mine). If there were tens of thousands in town to protest it stands to reason that there would have been more than 50 protester outside while Obama was speaking.
I also suggested we as a whole file a class action lawsuit against the ACLU for religious persecution.That is only one of the things that they should be sued for but it is the one that will draw the most attention. The ACLU is funded by tax dollars and is trying to destroy everything America stands for. I have not found one record of anyone trying to sue them because they think they are to powerful but if all the groups like Tea Party, as a mom, town hallers, etc. banded together and 3 million people filed a 2 trillion dollar lawsuit it would be heard by the world let alone our own government. The time has come to take peaceful action becase they are not listening to us when we talk and the media is lying about us and belittling our numbers. Doing all I can to defend Liberty, I sleep quite well. Were I to slink away in cowardice, leaving my children to fend for themselves, my family, my friends, THEN I would not be able to sleep at night. Here are some words for you to ponder:

I will use the words of Patrich Henry, though I would never have thought so fifty years ago when I first heard them in school, and now the time has come where the government has turned against its people, and they look at us as cattle to be fed, cared for, herded and disposed of as they deem necessary. They really don’t know us, do they? Well, “as for me give me liberty or give me death”, and that will have a dear price.

We can do this, if We the People stand together as ONE and demand they restore our Freedom. We need to not lose heart, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. What has happened to our Law Enforcement Services. The FBI and other services that investigated corruption in this country. This Administration has thrown it in our face and continues to operate with a double standard without an outrage from the Media and the Public. Our March to DC on 9-12-09 had one (1) Senator, Jim DeMint (R-SC) as our only supporting member of government. Our government is so corrupt that an honest person that is not afraid to blow a whistle on corruption was and is still being criticized by the Media and both Parties in government.
